My Indiana Fortnight

A pretty quiet day. I arrived in Indy at 5pm, Ari picked me up straight from the airport, and it was a two hour drive back to their apartment. I met their roommates, we went to Five Guys, and had a quiet night in getting used to actually being in the same physical place as each other.
The view over Indiana - so flat!
The airport I arrived in.
A little more interesting today. We went out to a local restaurant for breakfast (I got pancakes, obviously), and then Ari drove us to the local university to look at the shops in the area. I could've spent hours in the local bookstore, and we agreed on going back another time to take more photos and look more deeply into the local rock store. (I also might cave and buy something at the LGS nearby)
We stopped in Walmart to get groceries, and it was bigger than I could've ever expected it to be. It's a whole supermarket behind another supermarket. We picked up some things so we don't have to go out as much (I will comment on whether shredded wheat is anything like Weet Bix, and how syrup Nesquick compares to powder) and then drove back to the apartment. We watched a few Ghibli movies together and just hung out around each other for the rest of the day.
I didn't manage to finish them, but these pancakes looked good enough to justify that price all on their own.
This is a single nook in the bookstore. There was a whole downstairs just like this and an upstairs half the size! They also had VHS tapes, some collectable items and a whole manga shelf, which is more than I see in some full bookstores in Australia.
